SkyFallen Entertainment is a Russian company specializing on developing video games and middleware solutions.

History

The company was founded in 2002 and currently employs over 30 specialists.

SkyFallen debuted with Blood Magic 3rd person role-playing video game on December 16, 2005 (Russian release). The game received high appraisal and several awards in Russia. It was published in Europe (English, French, German and Italian localizations) by Deep Silver on April 27, 2007 under the title Dawn of Magic. Opposed to the reception in Russia, the English language media gave the game mostly negative reviews.

Blood Magic: Time of Shadows, a stand-alone expansion to the game, followed soon enough, it was released on November 24, 2006 in Russia and is planned to be released in other countries some time during 2009.

SkyFallen Entertainment also created the game engine entitled TheEngine which was used to develop such popular game titles like Dungeon Cleaners, King's Bounty: The Legend and Fantasy Wars.

Death Track: Resurrection is the latest game released by SkyFallen. At the moment, the company is working on the Blood Magic sequel, Blood Magic 2, which is going to be released in 2009.
