History

  • June 24, 2009

  • ZeniMax Media Inc. completed the acquisition of id Software which will continue to operate as a studio under the direction of its founder, John Carmack. All the company releases will be published by Bethesda Softworks, excluding the ones already committed to other publishers (for example, Rage will still be published by EA Partners as announced at the end of E3 2008 [1][2]).
